I have been taking Letrozole since March 2023. The side effects seem to have calmed down but I still have night sweats. Think pretty significant hot flashes and night sweats plus hair thinning, ridiculously dry skin, hair and nails.

I just checked your age and you are amazing.
I have been taken off the Letrozole at the 2 1/4 years point. The muscles both above and below the knees at about 2 inches and the right ankle were giving out without any notice and I was at high risk of falling. I had 2 close calls. One I would have fallen on cement and against my car.
I have been off it since July 7th.
Finally, the muscles are not doing that.
Towards the end of taking Letrozole, I developed neuropathy of feet and knees and plantar fasciitis and am still dealing with that.
I have an appointment at the end of September with my medical oncologist to decide what to do next.
Have you always exercised? What have you done to work through Letrozole successfully?

I've been on letrozole for 2.5 years now, half of the 5 my dr prescribed. The side effects have subsided but I still get some joint pain 😢. I watch my bone density which has so far been OK 👍. I do take supplements. I intend to stick it out for the 5 years unless something changes for the worse.
