Everyone gets floaters some time or another in their lives. I've had them for years and years. My eye doc keeps "His" eyes on them. Don't worry about them.

It is not uncommon for letrozole to cause changes in your eyes. The floaters could go away on their own but if they dont, you need to let your doctor know so he can notate your file and because he may be able to reduce the dosage or change your meds. He may even
suggest you see your eye doctor.. Everybody is different so the reactions to the meds we take can be a bit different as well.
Wishing you the very best. Stay in touch. We love you and we care! Endless hugs.

While eye issues can occur during breast cancer treatment, any changes in vision should be evaluated by a healthcare provider. If you experience blurred vision, eye pain, or vision changes like floaters, it's important to let your oncologist know right away.

They may recommend that you see an ophthalmologist for a formal eye exam to determine the cause and appropriate treatment. In the meantime, some simple steps that may help with general eye irritation include:

• Wearing sunglasses when outdoors
• Avoiding eye makeup
• Using glasses instead of contact lenses

However, since floaters represent a specific vision change, it's best to have them properly evaluated rather than trying to manage them on your own. Don't hesitate to speak up about these symptoms - your care team wants to know about any side effects that affect your quality of life.

Thank you. You are very wise to have the eye doctor check you out. It's probably nothing and will go away on it's on but peace of mind is a blessing. Have a great day. Endless hugs!

Thank you! I have scheduled for an optamolgist for 8/7/25. I am hoping it goes away, but going to have checked, just to make my mind stop thinking it could be something worse! Thanks everyone! Will update soon!🩷
