Thank you Sara. The Tsunami was a non event but I guess thats better than a major event! The worse part was being made to leave our place and drive inland for hours. I hope I get some replies re inplants! best wishes

I saw that Hawaii had a tsunami warning! Hope you and your loved ones are safe. I’m sure others on here will be more helpful than me regarding a mastectomy. I don’t think I will do an other surgery, maybe just look into some custom padding or something. Let us know (if you’re comfortable) with what you find out! Hopefully some of the experts on here will give you some info too!

Thank you so much for replying, I appreciate your advice. Surgeon agreed yesterday to try fat grafting though he says it wont do much. I am thin too. I was thinking I should have done the flap surgery, but maybe it also wouldnt have worked. I wonder if anyone has nice looking breasts after mastectomy. So disappointing isnt it! I will get a second opinion if still doesnt work but may have to go to another State to do it as Hawaii has limited plastic surgeons on my health plan. Did you ever get yours improved? Hi! I had a lumpectomy (2tumors) and a plastic surgeon did a ‘flap’ procedure where they take skin from my side to fill the space of the tumors. All the pics of other people who had it looked great but in hindsight sight, I was not a good candidate for this because I was too thin and it left me very flat on one side. I’m not looking to be a swimsuit model, but come on, women deserve better than this! I say this to you because it is very important that you have a doctor that you feel is listening to your concerns and answers all your questions. I really regret not getting a second opinion, because what could it hurt? I wish you the best and sending all the good vibes your way!
