Say there was some kind of supplement that promises to keep hormones balanced or lower estrogen, they still would never be able to prevent estrogen from fueling cancer. Nothing can eliminate estrogen like the AI's.

If your cancer is fueled by estrogen, the Aromatase inhibitors are the only thing that prevents estrogen from doing that. I don't believe in what some say about supplements or foods able to block estrogen.

What you can research during the time you are on Letrozole is what you can do or take to minimize estrogen for after treatment. Thats when supplements and foods come in which won't prevent estrogen but level it out . Weight also is a huge factor in making estrogen, the more body fat, the more estrogen. This is a difficult one since gaining weight is a side effect of these drugs but if you prevent gaining too much, it will be less you have to try to take off later.

Yes Linda, think of estrogen as food, it spoon feeds the cells blocking its ability to attach to breast cancer cells.
Nothing else but the hormone blockers can do that. Starve the breast cancer cells, starve the cancer.
