Please keep an eye on your cholesterol. Tamoxifen sent mine thru the roof and I felt terrible. Oncologist said this wasn't common but switched me to Letrozole and cholesterol came back down. Just wanted you to be aware.
My oncologist really wants me to take Anastrozole instead of Tamoxifen since I do have osteoporosis left femur she recommended I see an endocrinologist who agrees with her and wants me to take a yearly infusion of Reclass which will reduce bone loss So, I’m figuring out now what what treatment plan will First I’m going to have permanent implant surgery end of this month and figure it all out so much over past 6 months
Tamoxifen really messed up my mood, thyroid, and cholesterol and caused weight gain. Since being off, I have stabilized in all areas.
Thanks that’s good to know I’m on Zetia now for cholesterol because statin didn’t agree with me
No. It’s just recommended for preventative of it coming back.
