Hello Robbie, you will see this ' Every woman is different' when it comes to every treatment very often here. From chemo to radiation, to the AI's, Tamoxifen and healing from surgeries. Just like everyone who got the flu or covid, all different how they affected us. We would all love a simple answer with everything but there isn't any. Not only do women get side effects at different times but women also have different side effects. Some women feel them early in treatment and some not for months. Some women suffer hot flashes and fatigue, and other women might suffer pains and insomnia. It's just crazy how different we respond to these drugs. Good luck taking it, I hope it treats you well enough that you can continue taking it. 🥰
Thanks for the info. I just started 5 days ago and so far it’s been good. Wanted to know how long of a wait I would have before I started noticing side effects.
maybe a month, but all is different. I try to really pay attention to my body, but i do notice alil discharge😣and a quick hot flash occasionally @A MyBCTeam Member

The timing of tamoxifen side effects varies for each person. Common side effects like hot flashes, fatigue, vaginal discharge, mood swings, and nausea can begin at different times after starting treatment. Some people experience multiple side effects while others may have very few or none at all.
