Thanks for your reply.
I have tried most that you have suggested in the past although recently have changed the oral Magnesium to a spray . I go to the gym 3 times a week and have added a yoga and a pilates class in my week to try and regain the strength. In the past years I have tried Amiltriptyline/Gabapentin/Pregabelin/fluoxitine etc etc but none have altered the pain signals. I have not tried the tens machine though so may give that ago thanks. Kind regards.

I do not have fibromyalgia but a relative has.

What you are saying totally makes sense.

Fibromyalgia causes extreme sensitivity to pain. Add the pain from an aromatase inhibitor and you have a lot of pain.

I posted last week if anyone had used the TENS products for osteoarthritis or for knee pain from Aromatase Inhibitors.

Quite a few said that it helped.
Read up on where to put the knee pads not directly on the knee.
These sets are reasonable on Amazon. Do not know where you can find in England. Or, you could go to a PT and try a treatment and see if it helps and then get a TENS unit

Magnesium powder helps with fibromyalgia. @SandraBe sure that you can take this with your new fibromyalgia medication and clear with your doctor.

Some people take CoQ10 for pain from aromatase inhibitors.
Others try glucosamine Chrondroitrin or collagen.
Some try the generic of Claritin, Loratadine for the aromatase inhibitor pain.

Tart cherry juice or tablets helps one to sleep as does melatonin.

Exercise will help both the fibromyalgia and the pain from aromatase inhibitors.

Clear any of these things with your doctor.

Please get back to us and let us know how you are doing.

@A MyBCTeam Member. You need to build up your back knee muscles which will add strength.

Meanwhile, get a grab bar for next to the toilet to help you up.

@A MyBCTeam Member. Get in touch with your GP about your lower abdominal pain which might be diverticulitis.

If you do have that, ask your doctor if you can use IBGuard peppermint oil capsules with the peppermint oil in them which settles the intestines.

Hi Sandra, I am taking both Bisposphanate and Anastrazole daily. Both give heir side effects of joint pain and flu like symptoms. I have horses and pre medication I could carry 15kg feed sacks under each arm or harvest and shift 250 bales hay in a day. Since the medication start in December i cannot even lift a 3kg handbell and struggle to stand up off the toilet. I have had Fibromyalgia for over 15yrs and so know well how to rest/medicate during a ' fibro flare . My question is i suppose...the all over body/joint pain is now similar to a constant Fybro flare up so how on earth do I manage it? The nurses tell me that it can be normal to feel this pain but as I keep trying to explain to them that having Fibromyalgia takes any ' normal ' pain and ramps/amplifies it at least x 20. The advice is use paracetamol and ibuprofen but it doesn't touch it.
I'm looking for advice from other Fibromyalgia suffers who have found ways to manage the meds/pain relief and still keep working/living
life. Thanks in advance.

Fibromyalgia, fatigue, pain, cognitive symptoms, headaches, lower abdominal pain, depression and insomnia. Some of the same symptoms of cancer treatments. I have fibromyalgia also , the Drs just recently changed my medication. Not that it wasn’t working, they changed it because of my age. Boy, I thought well , but it wasn’t good for my kidneys either. I have kidney disease also. I feel better so, it was a good move.
Rachel waters what is your question?

Do you have access to Palliative Care person? My Palliative Care Dr helped with pain management, which sounds like RachelWatters you need. She also had PCP change a medication to something less harmful. Oncologist office will know.
