I don’t know if I’m experiencing brain fog OR I just have lot on my mind and not organized. Worried that this will affect my new job … 😬😰
It was temporary for me, some residual, (or maybe it is getting older) I blame the chemo, as it started small, and built, then regressed back to the small, inconvenient senior moment- like issues. Like walking into a room for 3 things, and only remembering what 2 of them were. If an event I might be interested in is not on the calendar, forget it! At work, keep your work organized, use Post It Notes, to remind you where you left off on something, keep a calendar updated- I like a physical one, and carry a small notepad everywhere, so you can jot down things. The Notes and Calendar App on my phone were great helps.
My local vitamin store had a blend EC sports NeuroSharp w/the B's and a great proprietary blend. Definitely more expensive online, but seems to be working for my brain fog (67-her2positive)
Remember, since it is a new job, you are taking in lots of new info- names and positions of people, the routines around there, your responsibilities, etc. That is stressful, and stress impacts short term memory. Try not to worry, they hired you because they know you are a good fit for the business, professionally and personally! Take a deep breath, and let your light shine!! You got this!! Hugs!
That all sounds good J. I hope everything stays manageable & that you can pull yourself out of whatever else you are going through. ❤️
Gosh J I am sorry you are in this slump. Do you know what brought it on? Try to get your sleep under control first because without the right sleep nothing else goes well. 💕
