Has anyone had any bad side effects when taking exemestane? Being taken off of anastrozole and starting exemestane on Tuesday.

Going to have a core biopsy on my right breast on April 21. There is a suspicious lump. I've already been diagnosed with invasive Her2- bc. Will undergo surgery and radiation after I get back from vacation in May.

Well, that's great anastrozole was working. I still think you will be fine stopping your med a week before your Boston trip. Many ladies take a week to a month break from time to time. You deserve to go on this trip before being boggled down with surgeries and treatments. Do take a lot of pictures that you can you look at as a reminder of a fun time when you won't feel well during various treatments. Share some pictures here if you can. ❤️

The anastrozole was working really well as far as shrinking my tumor. I had no bad side effects from it except for maybe a rapid heart rate. Like you have suggested if my new meds cause me trouble I will stop taking them before I leave for boston. Thanks for caring!
