Hi, I'm so sorry to hear that. Yes, I know. Cancer medicines hormonal blockers do cause dental issues. I've had a few myself. My bridge seems to still be in place after 25 years. I've had 25 rounds of radiation which caused encapsulation in one of the breast. I have insomnia. I used to have very bad bone pain. It's eased up but I still have it in other areas. Tend to blame it on arthritis but all the side effects are many. My cancer had returned even on tamoxifen for 5 years. I've been on entire hormonal medicines since 2011. They say I may have to be on it all my life.. where was your chemo at? They also say if you have cancer on the left side breast it's a dangerous for the hardened lungs can cause damage and mostly does from what I've read but it takes longer. I hate to hit you with all this stuff but even though they tell you you need radiation or chemo or both, sometimes I think it's not worth the trade-off. I'm sorry you're going through this with your teeth. That's an awful thing. so far. You also need to be careful while taking infusions for bone loss or to protect the bone because of the medicine that we take to block the hormones causes bone loss. I've had one infusion so far. I think I will not have another and just get heavy doses of vitamin d and weight-bearing exercises are supposed to help. Vitamin k. You're in my prayers and know you are not alone. Sandy

. Sometimes chemo affects the teeth.and some meds do as well. How many more chemo treatments do you have?
Make sure you doctor knows. and see what he has to say . Stay in touch. Must love and endless hugs.

Since I underwent my first round of chemo in 2022 I've had a total of 8 teeth break and the gums at the bottom of my front teeth are eroding. My breast cancer has returned and I just completed session 4 of my second round of chemotherapy on Monday. I had a hotdog to eat afterwards and had another tooth break on me. Sadly my teeth are a wreck ever since the first round of chemo. Prior to that they were in pretty good shape. I currently have 3 crowns in place, and the gums are eroding around all of them, but none of them have fallen out.....yet. Anyhow, just wanted to share that chemo has left my mouth a disaster as well. Good luck to you.
