Fatigue from breast cancer treatments can persist for months or even years after treatment ends. For some people, this tiredness may feel constant and might not improve with rest alone. The fatigue often peaks at the end of treatment but should gradually improve over time, though the timeline varies for each person. For the achiness specifically related to anastrozole, some MyBCTeam members have found relief through regular exercise. One member shared that daily walking (about 1.5 miles) helped them become pain-free after experiencing stiffness and pain from anastrozole. Regular exercise has been shown to help reduce both pain and fatigue symptoms.

To manage these symptoms, consider:
- Taking regular walks or doing gentle exercise
- Getting adequate rest
- Maintaining a well-balanced diet
- Tracking your energy and pain levels to share with your healthcare team
