I’ve been in Fosamax for quite a few years with no side effects. My Dr recommended I keep taking it due to the side effects of the Letrozole I’m on.

I don’t remember the name of the bone density drug I received but had six infusions in three years after radiation and starting letrozole. The first infusion knocked me down with flu like symptoms for roughly seven hours. I figure that wasn’t too bad given my oncologist told me it’d likely last 2-3 days and I slept through four hours of it. No negative side effects for remaining infusions which took only about 15-30 minutes to administer

Sept 20 (Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Friday revived more than 500 lawsuits alleging that Merck & Co (MRK.N), failed to warn that its osteoporosis drug Fosamax increased the risk of thigh bone fractures.
A unanimous panel of the Philadelphia-based 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that federal law did not block the plaintiffs' state law claims over the drug. Fosamax was acquired in 2021 by Organon (OGN.N), which agreed to indemnify Merck against liability from the lawsuits.
