I wish I had the records, it would be interesting to see the dates, I remember getting a polio vaccine, first on a sugar cube, and then later as a shot. My brothers got theirs in the arm, but for us girls, it was recommended that we arrive at the school in a dress so it could be easily administered in the thigh, where the scar would be less visible.

I had a bad case of measles in first grade. In the mid 1980’s my husband who thought he had had measles as a kid got exposed and sick from going on a trip. He darn near died with multiple organ failures. It was a miracle that he survived. I obviously still had immunity from my bout at that time. I just discussed this with my PCP wondering if immunity from having the disease could wear off. Apparently it can. The only way to know is to get a blood test. Yeah I know just what we all want, more bloodwork. I declined it now but if the epidemic gets worse and especially if there are cases near me, I definitely will get tested.
Wow @A MyBCTeam Member you still have your school records? Mine have been long gone. Strangely, records from back then are nonexistent. But I know I had the diseases and was vaccinated with any that were available back then.
I'm thankful I am the age where I either had the disease or vaccines and my kids did as well.
