@A MyBCTeam Member I had weekly Taxol for twelve weeks after my four cycles of AC just like you. I took the premeds Pepcid, Zyrtec and Dexamethasone and did not have any reaction. They will start your first dose slowly to monitor for a possible reaction. Very few people react and if you do, you will be ok. They will give you additional steroid medication or Pepcid and Benadryl IV and you may need to just have IV premeds for future doses. I thought Taxol was vacation after AC! AC was hard for me, I had a lot of nausea and fatigue. Yes, it is still chemo, so there are still side effects. I was still tired, but not nearly as wiped out. Taxol can cause neuropathy in hands and feet. I did ice my hands and feet, which helped a lot.

I did 12 weekly infusions of Taxol and Herceptin. I lost every hair on my body, a lot of nausea with digestion issues. I was extremely lethargic and got tired very easily. You’ll get through it. Hugs

That's what they gave me too. I understand the fear of switching to new drugs. I started anastrozole today. I tend to get the rarer side effects.
