I’m looking for recommendations that you found helpful beyond the usual items, i.e., snacks, water, blanket, IPad or cellphone, book or magazine etc.

Great advice. I like to bring a book, smacks, 2L of water, a sleeping mask, and pre-meds. I wear comfortable clothing, with a short-sleeved shirt and slip-on shoes ( for weight scale).

This is the first thing in my bag. Foot and hand coolers. The oncology nurse told me to get. You keep them in the freezer till infusion day. They really helped with the neuropathy after each treatment. I bought them on Amazon. Wear loose comfy warm sweats a cozy blanket and of course snacks. The pre meds knock you out so hopefully you’ll sleep through at least half of it. Your cell phone and charger. You’ll get through this, one treatment at a time.. big hugs

A nlce fluffy pillow and really warm socks in addition to the regular stuff you mentioned. Wipes as well. Hard candy is good.. I always made the first appointment of the day in hopes of maybe napping some during treatment. Good luck. Let us know what works for you. Hugs!
