I'm on Breckenridge. The side effects of joint pain are not improving, if anything they continue to worsen after 17 months.
I'll request the Accord prescription next time I see my medical oncologist. I want to stay on Letrozole because I've seen research articles that indicate it's slightly more effective against my diagnosis of pleomorphic lobular breast cancer.
Sue10 this is so interesting to me, as I'm on Anastrosole. I noticed one day as I was filled my weekly pill container that some of the pills had different imprints on them. I think I had mixed manufacturers mixed in my prescription. I have some of the same side effects mentioned above in your comment.

I would be greatly concerned if I had tablets that had different imprints of different manufacturers in the same bottle.
If you are still using this bottle, I would take it to the pharmacy and ask to speak to the pharmacist.
As a courtesy and for health issues, they need to tell you if they ran out of one manufacturer and had to add a second manufacturer to the bottle.
Plus, not to get you more upset, but how do you even know that both kinds of tablets were Anastrozole or something else?
If you do not still have any tablets left of this batch, I would still phone the pharmacist and tell him….
Also, regarding Anastrozole, keep in mind if you have a lactose problem as it contains lactose.
Also note that @Marylin2 said that she read research articles that said that Letrozole is best for ILC.

We have the same diagnosis of lobular breast cancer with pleomorphic.
I would not wait til your next appointment to do this unless this is this week or early next week. You do not want your symptoms to get worse.
Call the medical oncologist’s office and ask to speak to the nurse.
Tell her that you need to switch to the Accord manufacturer of Letrozole and why and request a prescription that says Accord manufacturer only of Letrozole.
Say that otherwise you would stop the aromatase inhibitors entirely.

I am definitely the one to ask.
1) What brand of manufacturer of Letrozole are you using?
I was on Breckinridge manufacturer of Letrozole for 17 months.
I reached a night of extreme entire hip pain, burning, hot legs, aching knees and getting up to go to the bathroom 7 times all night. Did not sleep all night.
Switched to Accord manufacturer of Letrozole. Women in England posted on a BC site that this was the best brand.
@A MyBCTeam Member researched this and agreed.
I do have some symptoms but not as bad.
Just some knee pain at night a few times and lower hip pain. This doesn’t happen every night either.
I take the Accord Letrozole when I go to bed. Any pain is during the night and not when I am up for the day.
Walgreens stocks Accord Letrozole.
You need a new prescription that says Accord Letrozole only.
I also take a lot of remedies along with the Letrozole. If you are interested, ask me
