I have it as well. Slight swelling in left arm after mastectomy. I go to a lymphedema physical therapist. Amazing. Wear compression sleeves on flights.
I developed lymphedema in my chest, arm, and hand on the left side a few months after I had lymph node removal and radiation treatment. Mine is not painful. I can just tell that it’s swollen when compared to the right. I go to a lymphedema specialist once a month now.I use compression garments day and night and I have a pump that massages my chest, arm and hand that I use every night before bed. Our goal is to keep the swelling from increasing. I hope all goes well for you.
It's a condition often caused by radiation or surgery. Lymph fluids accumulate in places like the chest, arms, legs or stomach because the lympjapgatic system is damaged or blocked..
