I finally bought two different bras and combined them. My issue is the cost of prosthetics. I bought one with my current cup size and one with my previous cup size. I cut the cups out of the smaller bra and hand sewed them inside the cups of the larger bra leaving a small opening on both sides so I could fill them out with poly-pellets. I sewed the openings closed. Then I cut the band off the cup-less bra and, using a zigzag stitch, sewed it to the bottom of the of the enhanced bra. I used a wide stitch length so as to no lose any elasticity.
Ok disclaimer I don't wear a bra. When I did I wore sports bras, undershirts with an attached bra and men's tank undershirts.
I love sports bras since my surgery in 2023. They're so comfortable. I love Fruit of the Loom Sports bras and Bestform. Hope this helps..
I got a box from UniteforHer recently and they included some additional resources. My disclaimer is that I don't wear a bra. I have nerve issues in my back and one of them is right at bra strap level. I did everything under the sun to try to find something I could stand even going to a specialty bra store to be fitted. And paid a small fortune for the recommended items. When that was a fail I donated the whole drawer and threw in the towel. I was frankly sick of always being in excruciating pain for somebody's idea of fashion. So I have never even visited this page but it looks pretty comprehensive and the recommendation comes from a pretty reliable source. Let me know what you think.
Hi Joan, oh no! I know it’s was Frustrating before surgery to find a comfy bra, now it’s even harder. I want to find a bra that’s comfortable that’s not a sports bra to wear under my nice clothes when I go out and back to work. Lmk if you find anything. Have a great day 💕
