I bought some super cute scarves on Amazon and apparently wasn’t paying attention cuz they are silk. I am having a heck of a time tying them around my head. Once they are on they seem fine but just wondering if anyone else has used silk scarves and happens to have any tricks or tips for tying them or maybe something I can wash them in to make less silky? I did wash in cold water on delicate before using. Thanks!
Thank you I'm gonna given them a try... I'll send pictures of I find the best look lol.. I have others I just slip on but these are so pretty.
They do sell pre-tied ones, and there are Grip Headbands meant to go under wigs, and some for scarves to help keep them from slipping. I never wore the scarves- so I don't know how well they work, (Amazon has several), hopefully someone with more experience than me can lead you in the right direction! Hugs!
I used pull on silk or stretch cotton hats and attached fake bangs with a velcro strip. You can just move them from on hat to another and the Velcro on bangs just sticks to the hats. I ordered them from Amazon, Temu and ebay.
I bought pre-tied scarf, silk scarf - returned most of them and bought beanies. It’s so convenient and I don’t have to worry about it slipping off every time I tilt my head back 😊
