I had a breast pillow- it was very helpful to brace onto for coughing, sneezing, getting up down from chair etc. Also have extra pillows ready for when come home for bed and sofa.

Pillows to prop up your arms during healing. I borrowed my kids' squishmallows because is how soft they were.

I had a breast pillow to protect me when I was in the car. It kept the seatbelt off of me. You may also want to have ice packs.

I had a double mastectomy on June 27th. I got a mastectomy pillow on Amazon it is fantastic it also came with seat belt cover and something to go around your neck for the drains when showering. Also get button up pajamas gowns are better I find because when you have to go to bathroom pants get in the way with the drains and bottles. Good luck
