All of the above, although the hot flashes and headaches are much less frequent after nine years on the drug. Also, I have severe bone-on-bone arthritis in my knees, so who knows if the meds are even adding to it at this point. I have other bone pain and it could be just arthritis or Exemestane or both. One more year, and I'm done!

Hello! Many people taking Exemestane (Aromasin) for breast cancer treatment have reported experiencing side effects. Common side effects include:

- Joint pain: This is a frequent complaint, with some individuals experiencing severe pain in areas like the knees.
- Muscle pain: Pain in muscles is also commonly reported.
- Other side effects: Hot flushes, fatigue, headache, insomnia, and increased sweating.

If you're experiencing knee pain or plantar fasciitis, it could be related to the joint and muscle pain side effects of Exemestane. Always consult with your doctor to discuss any side effects you're experiencing.
