I am on Exemestane right now. The only thing I have a problem with is weight gain. Not alot, but enough for me to feel and notice it. This is the 3rd AI I have been on and I think they all have their problems!

Yes, The first one they tried was exemestane, my joints hurt so much I couldn't sleep. I have osteoarthritis though.

I had exemestane with everolimus for a few months and felt fine, but alas, it didn't work on me

Hi Sally, they can send a man to the moon, but after decades of breast cancer research they can't find a pain free drug for us. I realize that we're all different, but hell! Hi Kathy..........I am now on Exemestane after being on Anastrozole and Xoloda. I asked to be taken off the Anastrozole because it seemed to make me very moody. The only thing I've noticed about the Exemestane is some weight gain (not alot). No aches or pains, but none of these have given me trouble with that. My memory is terrible and I'm not sure which one started that. They call it chemo fog, but it's more like I don't have one anymore. It's embarrassing and frustrating. I also have no taste or smell. No idea where that came from.
