I wondered if anyone has tried to reduce the side effects of letrozole and take it every other day rather than daily???
Letrozole is used for either hormone receptor, usually for women who are post-menopausal
I was doing that with Anastrozole. I tried every other day knowing it would remain in my system for probably 50% and then I did 2 days on, 1 off . I did 3 days on and 2 off. That went on for all August and most of Sept. This time I have been ON for 2 weeks straight. You do what you are comfortable doing. Depending on your particular cancer whether you had clear margins, what stage you are, your present weight etc. I am told I would have to stay on it for the rest of my life because my cancer already mets . I was having knee-ankle joint pain the first week but the last week it seems like they are better. You can take it and if you get any side effects you cannot tolerate you can try another AI. 🥰
It is recommended to take daily, at the same time. The goal is to block the estrogen. Skipping days will cause the estrogen to raise on those days.

Ok Priscilla I just looked at your diagnosis. ER negative, PR positive, HER2 positive and I thought that LETROZOLE was only for estrogen receptor cancers. Need some guidance here @A MyBCTeam Member @A MyBCTeam Member
