@KarhyRau There are some Breast cancers more aggressive than others and there are different protocols for all the different types of Breast Cancer. Even women who have the same exact type might have a different treatment . Stage/grade/genetics/markers all decide an individual's treatment.

I keep hearing triple positive but I don't know what that means. Does it mean positive for estrogen, progesterone and her2? I'm assuming that's it. Is that the worst diagnosis to have?

My oncologist told me it prevents recurrent by 50%. I had a lumpectomy and I am a stage 1 grade 2. Triple positive. I have done chemo and radiation. Don't really want to do hormone therapy, but.....

My doctor wouldn't answer my question when I asked her 'How long do I have if I do nothing'? I pushed the question . Every Breast cancer is different and grows at different rates. All the cancer sites online give shorter survival rates than the majority of women here have survived but then the majority of women here are in aggressive treatment. Some of us including me are not. For you at stage 1 I would probably take them and then do other things to keep your bones strong. Nutrition wise. Breast cancer is not going to go away by itself. The hormone blockers will prevent new cell growth, keeping it at bay.
