Try to get a supersoft bra or line one with a little piece of silk esp in the armpit area.. I had surgery 2 weeks ago-a lumpectormy- and ice packs and extra strength Tylenol worked after the first few days. When your health care providers oks it, they might give you a booklet of good exercises and you can find some online. I find it helpful to raise that arm and try to walk it "up the wall' so that the arm and scar don't get stiff. But it depends on your surgery.
Good luck and sending healing.

Yes both a secure fitting bra and a pillow you can put under your arm pit helps a lot I had a lumpectomy right side only and the 1/2 donut shaped pillow was wonderful They gave it to me before my surgery Sending you positive thoughts for the best possible results and easy time healing
