Onco Type testing is done on the surgical tumor 0.5 cm or larger, pathology of ER+ Her2- . It is sent to Exact Sciences in CA. They test it to determine how likely it is to replicate or recur. It gives a number, the number and the age of the patient determines if chemotherapy would be beneficial. Generally, 26 and higher suggests Chemo.
