I had all that except my stomach cramps went hand in hand with the constipation (had to give up Senekot which had been suggested by the oncologist- and go with multiple doses of Dulcolax the day of and day after chemo),

But the fatigue/overall body weakness was due to low red blood cells and platelets (I ended up getting a platelet infusion after my 4th of 6 chemos)

Neuropathy- hands and feet, discoloration and loss of some nails- all apparently a gift from Taxotere!

Once I was out from under the chemo for a couple of months, I could tell an improvement even though I was still on Herceptin for another 6 months.

The first to self correct was the nosebleeds, then fingernails, eventually the stamina and energy improved- and the neuropathy did as well. Now it is just some numbness at just the tips of my fingers and toes.

Hang in there, hopefully you will notice improvements as well- they are small, but every step helps! Hugs!

Hi there ladies…yes me too..I had heart palpitations(which kept me in the ER every other weekend or so after my infusions…I had a combination of Herceptin and Perjeta. I still have neuropathy in my hands and feet a year later after stoping the Herceptin & Perjeta. I chose to stop it after 7 months of treatment due to the heart palpitations, which seemed to have been getting worse. My 22 year old nursing student daughter(Nurse Retched I call her 😂🤣😂 ) because she was constantly on me during the entire journey) and I thank God for her every day I could Not have made it though it all, even today a year later..without her 😭…did pier-review research and noted there is no difference in survival rates between those who stopped at 6 months vs those who took the infusions for 12. That was my oncologist plan 12 months of the two (Herceptin & Perjeta)..but I was more afraid of the long term effects on my heart..it was a scary decision but I prayed 🙏🏽 and decided I just had and still has to trust God with my life, my health, my everything period. Afterwords many of my side effects symptoms have gone away or definitely improved much. Enjoy Thanksgiving warrior women and I hope this helped… God bless you beautiful women..💕

@A MyBCTeam Member I also did 6 rounds of TCHP, followed by herceptin & perjeta infusions (for 12 months). However I am contemplating stopping after 6-7 months because I already have tachycardia, but I also have a very strong family history of heart issues. Thank you for sharing your experience with those of us on a similar treatment plan. I will definitely be having a heart to heart with my oncologist about the risk/benefit of stopping before the 12mo mark.

I also suffer(ed) from almost all of the same side effects you went through. Unfortunately my neuropathy has not improved so far.
