A break is just that…..a break. Symptoms return unfortunately. I agree that switching to a different AI can sometimes help. My oncologist was concerned about my quality of life and told me to go to every other day with the Letrozole. That helps some. As does walking and stretching. Good luck!

I’ve not taken any of the AI’s due to the side effects . I know 2 ladies who experienced the joint pain, took a break, felt better. Joint pain resumed once they restarted the medication. Everyone’s body reacts differently. Some switch to a different aromatase inhibitor and don’t get the same side effects. Good luck

I've not tried letrozole, but I took a short break from Trodelvy and it didn't seem to make a difference - it continued to be effective once reprised. Hope this is a reassurance, and hoping you capitalize on the break to spend joyous times with friends and family, feeling well.
