Ki-67 tests the rate of which the cancer is growing. Since it is a percentage, it is up to 100. My oncologist told me that average cancer is 20 %, anything over 50 % requires chemo. I am TNBC, with a ki-67 of 85%.

The Ki-67 test is a percentage score. Less than 10% is low, over 20% is considered higher and more aggressive. However- this is not the only test doctors use, and some doctors don't even use the Ki-67. It is just piece to the puzzle.

Hi friends,
I was just diagnosed with TNBC a little over a month ago. Next week I will have a mastectomy, my first intervention. Right now, I am considered stage 1B, but of course that is based on the doctors not feeling or seeing anything more on the mammogram. I'm wondering: is there always more after surgery (i.e. chemo, immunotherapy, radiation) for TNBC, even if lymph nodes are clear? I know I need to wait for the pathology report but the waiting makes me restless!
