I breastfed both my boys, had the first at 29, and was diagnosed with HER2+ at 62.

No idea, but I very much had difficulty breastfeeding both my kids...I just could not produce enough (despite 2 lactation specialists, supplements, etc). In my case, I was 38 when I had our son and 41 when I had our daughter. I was diagnosed with BC at 43.

I don't know if there's a correlation between difficulty in breastfeeding and a later diagnosis of breast cancer. I had four children when I was between the ages of 25 and 33, and successfully breastfed for a total of 41 months. (My surgeon was impressed that I knew that!) I was diagnosed with ER+, PR+, HER2- at 67. I thought breastfeeding was supposed to help reduce the likelihood of breast cancer.
