How long did you experience fatigue after surgery? I had a double mastectomy with expanders on January 19th. No chemo/no radiation. I find myself ready to fall asleep around 6:30/7:00 each night and despite getting a good nights rest I’m having trouble getting up in the morning.

Just keep listening to your body- and give it the rest it needs. Make sure you are still hydrating, eating well, and getting some activity time in daily. Your body and mind have been through a lot in the last few weeks. My surgeon would not even consider my going back to work until 8 weeks out- and once I did, it was just as you said- go to bed early, solid sleep, then up and still tired. It does get better- just not as quickly as we would like!

I had DMX on Jan 9th and I feel the same. Are you on tamoxifen as well? I feel like it got worse when I started it.
