Mammogram results can vary and may require further testing for clarification. Here are some key points from the knowledge base:

- False-Positive Results: These occur when a radiologist mistakenly identifies a benign growth as cancerous, leading to additional tests like repeated X-rays, breast ultrasounds, or biopsies.
- False-Negative Results: These happen when certain types of breast cancer are missed, potentially delaying detection and treatment.
- Abnormal Results: An abnormal mammogram doesn't necessarily mean cancer. It indicates a change or abnormality that needs further investigation.
- Diagnostic Mammograms: If abnormalities are found, a diagnostic mammogram may be recommended for more detailed images.

Always discuss your results with your radiologist or doctor to understand the next steps.
