Today was day 7/30 for my radiation and I have no side affects.
I would ask about what to put on your skin to keep it moisturized.
My nurses told me to stay out of the sun and keep my skin clean and moisturized, drink lots of water and get plenty of rest. Don’t over do it.
I have a rx of Mometasone that I put on twice daily.
The first treatment freaked me out a bit but by the end of that week, I was totally relaxed on the table, enjoying a little nap. It’s weird but you can get used to it and relax.

It wasnt that bigga deal. He told me to order the Miaderm from Amazon, which is expensive but works. He told me what to expect at simulation that the tats are no big deal. He is a sweetie who gave me his cell phone# so i could could text him any concern. I get to see him every thursday. He and the techs keep an eye on my skin. Im on #22/30 and i dont have burning! I have freckles!!! I have one tender place under my arm near my stitches, but im ok. The last 5will be boosts. Youll be fine!💕🙏😇

I wished I was given the truth or before/after pictures of what the radiation can do to your skin by the end I would ask that for your particular situation. Also how does it impact plans for reconstruction. Good luck 👍🏻 💕
