I had blisters also I used aquaphor, sometimes mixed with a steroid cream. I got the most relief from Silvadene cream, lots of it. For the discomfort I would mix in either lidocaine cream or ointment with the previously me cream or ointment. I used telfa nonstick pads over the worst parts, on top of the cream or ointment. I washed the areas gently with paper towels and baby soap. Hope this helps! It will finally heal, after completion of rad therapy it will get worse before it gets better.

My radiation team gave me Mepilex, which was a very, very thin sheet of foam,, with a very, very light adhesive on one side, to cut to size to put under my armpit and breast where skin was peeling,especially if I was doing my walking exercises and it was rubbing. Otherwise, I used Aquafor. I also had an Rx for hydrocortisone.When things got painful, they gave me and a clear Rx gel with morphine that helped heal and helped the pain.
So — as others said, keep your radiation team in the loop and ask if there are lotions or meds that might be best for you - what is right for one person, may not be right for another.

I blistered towards end of RAD. Doctor gave me steroid Rx. Used it in conjunction with cream and finished radiation. Took another few weeks for blisters to completely heal after radiation was done. Ask for something. Good Luck.

I used 100% aloe vera gel to prevent blisters and it really helped.
