I had fat grafting during my revision surgery (moved implants from under muscle to over muscle placement). In my case my PS only did 30cc’s on each side so a very miniscule amount but the area where he harvested (my stomach - he made small incisions inside my belly button area so there are no visible scars) and inserted (above my impants - a small hole about armpit level and have those scars) were the painful part of the whole thing. Soreness lasted a few weeks. Kept compression on my stomach for about a week or so.

I had a fat graph 6 months after my implants went in. I’m not sure if you have implants yet but they will look different then the expanders. Honestly it was by far the most painful of my surgeries but I think it depends on where they take the fat from. Some people seem to do ok. Mine was from the sides of my stomach so I had 6 punctures which I think is more than the norm and is why I was in so much pain. I did great after my mastectomy and my exchange surgery but this one was the only surgery where I woke up and said my pain level was at a 10. Took 3 shots of morphine to where I could talk normal. My scars are minimal. There is dots on my stomach but I also scar pretty easily. I went back to work in 11 days but was still moving pretty slow at that point. That being said, as horrible it was for me I am glad I did it. It fixed the dent that I hated and I feel more confident now. Still think people that do lipo by choice are nuts but I’m happy with the result.
