I received Lupron shots for 2 years, 11 years ago. Not going to lie, it can be tough. Mostly inconvenient, hot flashes come on fast and extreme night sweats. I think it's more severe than menopause because it comes on so fast. I just had a hysterectomy, salpingo- oophorectomy 5 months ago (my BC came back, easier this time to take it all) and the hot flashes and night sweats are not as severe as when I was on Lupron.
