Anything is possible. You pay for the mammogram.

Call the site supervisor as say that you want to see the mammogram . You do have that right. Do not let them say it is not their policy.
Ask them if you need to talk to the regional director or head of the company.

You may not be in the health field but if you wish to see that / and/or have a radiologist explain it, you have that right....

Hi Karen:

We all go through these very difficult ups and downs waiting for the next mammogram and results.

Try the breathing techniques when these thoughts come up.
Perhaps some meditation too.

Post when your next mammogram is and all of us will pray and help you get through it.

I have my 3rd since surgery in December and am so worried. I’m already preparing for the bad news, then I’m OK, then I’m freaked out! This is definitely a life long journey.

7 years out for me. Most years I'm fine with the mammogram. Last year while waiting for my name to be called, my anxiety went through the roof in a matter of seconds, without warning. All I could think of was great, my boob is clamped into this machine, so I'm either going to be hanging from the machine with the boob clamped in, and my head is going to be on/near the floor if they don't hurry up. Then the code that would be called....and the people I knew working there...Oh Lord, don't let that happen. my dr said it sounds like ptsd. Told her next year, I'm taking a little white pill to calm me down and whether or not I need it, I'm not proud, and don't ever want that to happen again! We have to do what we have to do for ourselves. Blessings on your journey, it can be quite interesting!
