Hi. I was diagnosed with Stage 0 LCIS in October. Started Anastrazole in Nov, off it in April due to joint pain and swelling. Switched to Armidex - lasted 2 weeks until developed achilles tendonitis, carpal tunnel, and other tendonitis. Off that and 6 weeks later started Tamoxifen. I stopped that after 2 weeks due to extreme tiredness and inability to function. Still with severe foot pain. Been off everything x 1 week. Haven't called doc yet. Does it get better?

I stares out on anastazole I consider myself as one with a very high pain tolerance level, however the joint pain, was so bad i could not tolerate it. My oncolgist switched me to Letrozole. Still have joint pain, mostly in my fingers, wrists, and hip. The pain with these are Letrozole are much more tolerable than that of which i experienced with the Anastrazole!

@A MyBCTeam Member - my side effects went away within a month and I lost the extra weight too. My oncologist was adamant that I was being foolish to quit but it was a quality of life decision. I was Stage 1 with 2 separate tumors, Grade 1 and grade 2.
I quit seeing my oncologist since we didn't see eye to eye. My general surgeon offered toes me annually for BC follow-up and I have been very pleased with his thoroughness. He has a special interest in BC and I've been very comfortable just seeing him annually, along with my GYN and my PCP.

I tried Femara and Aromasin both made me sick. Nauseated and indigestion. I am not sure that I want to try another one! I have Barrett esophagus and already have to take prescriptions for my stomach.
