I'm not sure what "slow growing" means--is it grade 1 cells? Even so, it has spread to your lymph nodes so that would be a concern to me. What size was the mass in your breast? I was 1.5 cm ILC with 1 node positive, grade 2 cells. I had two oncs tell me that chemo was necessary so I did it. Had lumpectomy so also did 33 radiation tx and now on letrozole/Femara for 5 years. I'm three years out and doing fine. I decided to throw everything at it but each of us gets to decide. Keep researching and maybe get a few opinions from MOs outside your clinic. Never hurts to get as much info as you can.

Hi Barb! Yes, I believe it’s Grade 1. But I am with you- that all my lymph nodes were positive is a bit concerning. I am to meet with a GYN cancer doctor on the 4th and the cancer doctor on the 9th. Hope to get some answers then.
Depending on those visits, a second opinion may follow.
