Did you take Tamoxifen or any other drugs to keep from having a recurrence? That is my greatest fear is thinking you beat the big C only to have it come back years later

I had BC 22 years ago treated it with surgery and reconstruction. Had diagnosed it early so no chemo or radiation. Now it has Mets to my bones. I feel ok but tire so quickly. Taking hormone blocker shots to hopefully slow it down. When they said incurable I lost it and luckily my hubby heard the rest that it is treatable. I am going to MD Anderson in Houston Tx. I feel it helps me the more information i find from other team member’s post. We are here for you so feel free to ask questions vent or whatever you need.

I also have Stage IV w/ bone mets. I am doing really well in spite of that diagnosis for 5.5 years now! BC has many options for cancer treatment now. Is there anything I can do for you? Praying for a cure for everyone, but will pray for all three of us tonight. Paula

Am triple negative so no drugs . It’s been a hard journey .

I did. Just switched recently to Ibranxe and Faslodex this December. All is going great and my tumors are shrinking!
