After menopause you will produce much less estrogen and you will not need the tamoxifen. They will change you to a different medication after your blood tests show you are post menopausal.

I was on @Femara at first. I was 54 at the time and changed over to @Arimidex. The side effects of @Femara were too hard for me to handle. I am done with the anti-hormone in July and look forward to it.

@A MyBCTeam Member I take exemestane....but hate being on it because of what it is doing to my bones. My lobular bc works best with an AI, or so I am told.....

Chemo put me into menapaus and I took evista for almost a year and I can't take all the fatigue and aches and pain so I just went off and I am taking DIM and Ic3 , feeling better. Tamixafin was the first thing I tried and the side effects were terrible , every med is different for every person ..

Choose arimidex, femara was terrible for me
