The reason I asked is that something in my left chest/underarm area showed up on the body scan. I was asked if I wanted privacy for a pat down. Of course, I said yes. I did explain that I had had a masectomy and wore prosthesis. The security lady and a second one observing were both very professional; the pat down was not offensive. It was just odd that something showed up on the scan. Another time going through security, I was questioned about my compression sleeve.

Yes everytime i have to go thru the xray and be padded down and explain what it is is 2 prosthetics and one inplant its humiliating

No. Not with the port. Not with the fakes before reconstruction. Not with the implants.

The only time anyone questioned was when I went thru one of the scanners and they thought I had something around my waist. Not. I think they were seeing my abdominal scar from my DIEP flap. During chemo, one airport made me take my hat off and the other one didn't.
