Hello, I too had excessive breast itching prior to my diagnosis. This is one of the reasons I made an appointment for an ultrasound, just 5 months after my previous one. I ended up having DCIS, Stage 0 throughout both my breasts. Since my bilateral mastectomy the itching has stopped. I think the itching was God's way of keeping my breasts on my mind so that I'd have them looked at. They literally drove me crazy for 2 weeks before I finally scheduled an appointment. Good luck!

Meg, I had red itchy bumps between my breasts as well as under my arms. It was almost like a rash under my arms. I didn't have these bumps on my breasts, they were just constantly itchy.

Kelly, you are not crazy! Spot compression 3D mamo, ultrasound and MRI all three showed that I had 2 spots of DCIS in my right breast, nothing in my left breast. After surgery, my surgeon told my family that all my breast tissue looked healthy. When pathology came back I had significant amounts of DCIS in both my breasts. Thank God it was all Stage 0. When I mentioned my itchiness to the radiologist that performed my biopsies and to my surgeon, they both just kinda shrugged their shoulders and said they had never heard of that before. Your body gives you warning signs, we just have to listen to them!

I had no idea that the itching was related to my diagnosis. I had red bumps and itchiness in between my breasts. My tumor was found in my right side. Crazy!
