Very true Christine. I was fortunate enough to keep my skin and nipples and I learned real fast that I'm also one of the 30-50% of women who's nipples still respond! They get hard several times a day and I have no control. Can't wear a bra now so everyone thinks I'm just really happy to see them! Hahahaha
I had a double mastectomy and nipple sparing, I was happy but at the same time I have to wear something that hides my nipples. I think it sounds like either option has its pros an cons.
@A MyBCTeam Member, go get yourself some silicone nip covers from Amazon. They work really well and are invisible under all but the sheerest fabrics!
Evelyn, I just had my 3D tattoos on August 9th. They look so natural. A great option for not having another surgery. My mom had a single mastectomy 26 years ago, she did the nipple surgery and had a regular tattoo. The nipple surgery left her with one nipple always erect! Hehe.
I highly recommend the tattoos!! My first tattoos of any kind. She used a numbing gel so that was nice.

Christine, have you found an artist yet? Mine is in Atlanta and I highly recommend her if you can't find anyone in your area.
I had a double mastectomy but after all my treatments are over and I have my reconstruction surgery I'm having the 3 D tattooing. I've seen people with them and it looks awesome.
