I recently had my tattooing done and I can say yes it has made a world of difference. I also had the nipple reconstruction done. The way my surgeon explained it is rolled like a cinnamon roll. It looks awesome Just like the real thing. The tattooing made me feel complete and able to close this long chapter in my life. I will be going back for a second pigmentation. Only because I would like mine to be a little darker and a slight bit bigger. They look so natural. It was the right choice for me. Some people do not feel the need and that is fine to. I'm opting for it. One nipple was spared and thankfully has feeling. Will have other done to look as close as possible to it. For me. I'm single and 47. I'd like to look as even as possible.

Origami is nipple reconstruction? you mean the gathering of skin to make a nipple? my plastic surgeon said he would refer me to a tattoo expert when we get that far along.

I also had nipple reconstruction (origami) and pigmentation tattoo done in PS's office. I was on the fence regarding both and my PS convinced me to have it done and I am glad I did. Best of luck with whatever you decide.

My plastic surgeon's tattoo / body sculpting nurse did mine. She did a nice job with the pinks/brown to make them natural looking. Health insurance covered most of it.
