I did the oncotype and scored a 14 and did not need chemo. I think whether you need radiation is a separate issue based on choosing to have a lumpectomy instead of a mastectomy. I don't think the oncotype takes into consideration anything other than the benefits for chemo.

I had the oncoTypeAsssyTest and my score came back 0!! PTL. It was not necessary for me to have chemo for chance of reoccurrence. But they didn't tell my my score for radiation. My oncologist and surgeon want me to have it. My surgeon says without I have a 40% chance of reoccurrence and with rad a less than 5%. I'm waiting in CT scan to come back. I may start rad Thursday or Monday.

I had an Oncotype Dx and it came back with a score of 36: high risk of it coming back. I am estrogen and progesterone positive, but HER2 negative. I am on a waiting list to do BRCA gene testing and genetic counseling as well. Knowledge is power.

I had the Oncotype DX and mine came back as 67% !! I had aggressive cancer (2 different types - 1 was triple negative and 1 was 30% ER positive / 10% PR positive / and HER2 neg) I had Bilateral mastectomy and aggressive chemo but no radiation.

I had the Onco DNA testing after my double Mastectomy.. so I did not need Radiation and I scored 18 so did not need the Chemo.
