Increase your intake of green leafy veggies: spinach, kale, chard, for snacks, eat popcorn, nice source of iron for you.

I was fortunate that I never dropped my hemoglobin...go with what your body is telling you...if you're tired rest. Keep a healthy diet and hang in there.

I had to be hospitalized for a low white blood count. I do know many ladies who had to have blood transfusions during the dense dose chemo. Thinking of you. Chemo zaps your energy hell or high water.

Last week mine were low as well. I have been so out of breath and easily exhausted. They were going to give me a blood transfusion, but recehecked my levels and they had come enough a bit. I remain out of breath and don;t go back for my last chemo til October 12th. I'm hoping my numbers are better and I won't need the transfusion. They didn't tell me ways to increase my levels, but will try eating more sources of iron.
