I am on Letrozole (Fermara). It caused weight gain and high cholesterol. Very difficult to lose the weight and get cholesterol down. You really have to watch what you eat but it can be done. I lost 7 lbs so far and reduced cholesterol. Good luck and hope you are doing well.

I still have my test and smell but my hair is thinning, I have joint pain after sitting or laying down for long periods. I am always wondering if it's just the side effects of Letrozole or something else. I have never had any scans other than the MRI before my surgery. Will always wonder about that. I hear so many others go for scans. Why do some and not others??

Hi Thinking Positive 😃 I've been taking Letrozole since 2012. I wish I could gain weight. Ha Ha. I also have Crohns w/ a lil bit of intestinal track, so keeping weight on is an on going battle. What Letrozole has affected me w/ lost of taste and smell. I love to eat but now can't taste it.
