Good morning I have gained weight on this drug also. It's not easy. I just decided I'm going g to look my best no matter what my size. After all I survived cancer.

I have been cancer free from triple negative breast cancer for 10 years. Nothing has ever gone back to normal. I am so tired, my energy level has never got back to what it was before I had treatment. I can’t handle the heat even in the winter time. If I’m up doing something, I get so hot, I have to sit down my face gets beat red. I still have achy bones I have osteopenia it’s just not nowhere near how I felt before treatment and it’s been 10 years since I’ve been out of treatment and cancer free so it’s not really getting back to how you were. Yes I gained weight and have only lost a few pounds. It’s just dealing with what you have.. what really aggravates me is how people think that after you’re done oh you should be OK they don’t know how you feel because they haven’t been through it.

Was on Arimidex and Letrozole at different times. I, too, gained weight, but the bone pain was more than I could handle. After discussing with my oncologist I decided to stop all anti hormone treatment. It will be 13 years in Dec.

I’m on Letrozole and have gained weight. Also, I’m not eligible for lymphedema surgery because I’ve gained weight!!! Dr told me I was morbidly obese….I’m sure there was a nicer way to tell me I needed to shed some pounds. Dr Chen is with the Cleveland Clinic and I spoke with his PA. Let the clinic know what was said in a survey they sent. Never heard a word. I guess making your patience feel like crap is just a way to do business

Ditto… I’m on Letrozole and have insomnia so I’m always tired. Gained 12 lbs,. and was told I’m morbidly obese by the surgeons office so I’m not eligible for corrective for the lymphedema I developed. I’m sick of people that think because it’s been a couple of years since surgery and radiation that I’m just fine! This is an ongoing battle and the treatment can sometimes be as hard as the disease! Hang in there, you can do this. I understand as well as the other women on this site understand what you are going through. You are in my prayers🫶
