Had BMX June 15 with immediate reconstruct (silicone implants) Hoping for minimal surgeries so far so good 🙏. My Stiches itch like crazy. I have been told that is a good thing because they are healing. Any advice to help deal with it? thanks
EV Coconut oil at night to soften and provide elasticity ( happens to be Antimicrobial, too) . Perhaps try a spray or cream with Lidacain ( or similar) during the day, as in Dermaplast, Solarcaine, or even Orajel. Run it by your surgeon's nurse before starting any new cream to the surgical site.

Lol! I sometimes take the benadryl to help me sleep. It works well. Have a restful night.🌸🌷🌻🌼
Benadryl worked well for me. They make a new non-drowsy one now.
I had my BMX on June 29th. As the stiches heal they are itchy. I have the tissue expanders in which seem to be a constant burning pain. I won't get the silicone implants until I am stretched enough.
@A MyBCTeam Member they do feel heavier I agree. I do not have a lot of feeling by the scar but I was told it should come back. Sending you pink warrior hugs!
